Become a volunteer and help us... 

Brixham Battery’s grounds take a lot of work and without our dedicated volunteers the structures would eventually be victims to plant growth, weathering and vandalism. As a group we have maintained all the buildings and structures that remain by cleaning them, painting them and giving them new doors and steelwork to keep vandals out. This work is ongoing.

Volunteers have also helped clear and maintain our Museum and Education Centre. The Museum and displays are refreshed every year so that it doesn't get all "samey".

Most of the group have an interest in WW2 and act as stewards at the museum.

It's not all work, you can also sit and enjoy the view and chat with fellow volunteers and visitors if you wish.  On top of that we have an active social calendar where you can meet new friends with the same interests.
